Fully refurbished in 2008, this 700 sqft apartment offers 3 bedrooms and accomodates 6 to 8 persons very comfortably. It is located on the 5th French floor without elevator (6th US floor)of an elegant Haussmanian building and enjoys therefore an amazing view over Paris rooftops. All rooms have a direct access to the balcony which runs along the apartment...
The apartment contains 3 bedrooms : the main one is equipped with a queen size bed, an antique desk and built-in closets. The second bedroom has two single beds which can be used separately or can be joined with a zip to form a real queen size bed. It is also equipped with a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, 2 nightstands and an antique fireplace with mirror which brings a lot of charm to the room. The third bedroom also enjoys a beautiful fireplace with an antique mirror; it is equipped with a "kangaroo bed" which can be used as one single bed, two twin beds or one queen size bed. A charming antique chest of drawers as well as a built-in closet are at your disposal to store your clothes.
For your luggage, coats, etc... a large walk-in closet is also available at the entrance of the apartment, right next to this bedroom.
The large living/dining room has 4 windows which make it very light. The kitchen is fully equipped : fridge, freezer, hot plates, hood, oven, microwave, dishwasher, electrical kettle, toaster and of course all kind of pots, pans and dishes you may need. The dining table is fine for 6 people but has extensions which will let you seat 8 to 10 people very comfortably.
The living room area also has a very comfortable sofa bed, very easy to handle, and which can be turned into a queen size bed with a real mattress if you have guests. A "bergère" armchair, as well as coffe tables, a LCD cable TV and a DVD player complete the equipment of the living room.
Wifi DSL internet access is accessible for free in the apartment.
Free phone calls to landlines to most common destinations (US, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, etc.) can be made from the apartment.
For your daily shopping, a small supermarket is located just accross the street. During the week, an open air market takes place on Place de la Bourse, one short block away from the building, where you can find vegetables, a baker and some caterers.
The closest subway station is Bourse (line 3). Opera (line 3,7,8 and RER A) is less than 10 mn walk away.
A Velib station is located just accross the street.

Nearby attractions
The Opera Garnier is just a short walk away. We highly recommend that you attend a show at the Opera during your stay as it is one of the most spectacular buildings in Paris. From there you can reach easily place Vendôme, les Tuileries, or La Madeleine.
A short walk will take you to the Grands Boulevards where most of the theater shows take place.
A little further, really worth the 10 mn walk from the apartment, you will reach the "quartier Montorgueil" which is a pedestrian area with an open air market and an amazing selection of food stores.
