Description
This stylish 3-bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor (5th US floor) of an oldstone building, with elevator, and is just a short walk away from Saint Germain des Près. The building is also equipped with security code and intercom and has a concierge. It is located at the corner of two quiet streets, just off Boulevard St Germain, close to metro stop "Rue du Bac".
The apartment can comfortably sleep up to 6 people and thanks to the sofa bed in the living room, 2 more people can stay without a problem. It is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture and is perfectly equipped for your comfort.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, a large closet and antique bedside tables and chest of drawers. This bedroom overlooks a quiet inner courtyard. It is also equipped with a TV and a DVD player.
The second bedroom has two beds that can be joined together to make a queen size bed. There is also a large antique wardrobe and a small settee found at the flea market. It looks out onto rue Paul Louis Couturier which is, day or night, a very quiet street.
Both bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and their original features (parquet floor,marble fireplaces...) have been preserved and restored during renovation work, offering a typical Parisian atmosphere.
The third bedroom also has a splendid marble fireplace and is equipped with a daybed that can be converted into two twin beds. It can be used as a bedroom if 6 people are staying in the apartment, or as a simple study/TV room otherwise.
There is a flat screen TV with international channels and a DVD player. The built-in cabinet can be used to hang clothes and/or store suitcases. The desk and chair have been found in a flea market.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge and freezer, hotplates, oven, microwave, a blender,a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The kitchen opens onto a spacious dining/living room area, with three windows overlooking rue Couturier and flooding the room with light. The elegant and comfortable sofa bed is very easy to handle and can be converted into an additional queen size bed. Most of the furniture have been found in the flea market and bring and authentic and warm atmosphere to the room.
Broadband wifi internet is available in the apartment. Phone calls to US landlines and cell phones are free, as are calls to landlines in most western European countries. You will find more details regarding phone and internet in our welcome brochure that you will find in the apartment. This brochure will also provide operating instructions for household appliances and a list of our favourite addresses in the neighborhood (restaurants, food stores, museums, etc...).
The closest metro station is "Rue du Bac", there is also a taxi stop on Boulevard Saint Germain, just one block away, and a velib parking on Boulevard Raspail (5 mn walking from the apartment).

The apartment is located near the corner of Rue du Bac and Boulevard Raspail. Rue du Bac is a fabulous street offering every convenience for your stay. Within just a few short blocks you can find pharmacies, banks, bakeries and patisseries, a grocery store, cheese shop, ice cream store, chocolate shop, a fish market, butcher, Italian market and several wine stores and cafes. Boulevard Raspail hosts a wonderful farmer’s market three days a week.
Just a couple blocks down Blvd St-Germain and you are in the heart of the lively St-Germain des Pres, mecca for the most fashionable intellectuals, artists and writers and now famous for its shopping, art galleries, antique shops, and cafes. Also within easy walking distance are the Louvre, the D’Orsay museum, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, the Seine, the Latin Quarter, and so much more. The apartment is very centrally located and convenient to all that the city has to offer.
