My husband, adult daughter and I stayed in this apartment over Christmas 2008, and totally enjoyed it. The location is ideal -- on one side, you're within a couple of blocks of the Bastille metro, Place de la Bastille, Paris Opera, and the Marais, and on the other side, it's only a short walk to the Monoprix, and the fabulous Marche d'Aligre. In fact, we walked from the apartment all over Paris. Notre Dame is only about 15-20 minutes and the Place de la Concorde is a good stroll. We even had a nice scenic walk to the Eiffel Tower, although it took a while. There are tons of good restaurants and food stores in the area. The apartment is very spacious, and having two levels provides a lot of privacy. The kitchen was quite well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, staples like cooking oil, seasonings, etc., and the induction stove is great. We were able to prepare a really nice Christmas dinner for ourselves. It was very quiet while we were there -- we did not hear a sound from any of the neighbors or even from the courtyard. The owner was very efficient and pleasant to deal with, and there were plenty of instructions in the apartment on how to use the appliances, where to take the trash, etc., as well as a guide to the local area. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. The photos on the website are very accurate. We had a lovely experience with this rental, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"We had a wonderful 5 days at 13 Beranger. There were 5 of us staying there and it worked well. For a Paris apartment it is extremely spacious and comfortable. Having the lift in the building is also an advantage for those with heavy suitcases! The apartment is in a good location, close to the railway station for the Eurostar and very close to place de la République and the main tourist attractions. Having the Marche des Enfants Rouges close by was also great as it felt like you were more living in Paris than just visiting. The highlight of our accommodation was the was the helpful team who manages the apartment; nothing was too much trouble for them, they are without a doubt the most friendly helpful team I have ever dealt with much better than the service at 7 star hotels!"Natasha from London
